- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/4 c. fudge sauce or fudge ice cream topping
- 1 c. chilled whipping cream
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts (if you like)
- 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Method
- Grease a round 8 x 1 1/2-inch pan or 8 x 1 1/4-inch pie plate with shortening.
- Mix sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, eggs, flour and cocoa in a medium bowl with a wooden spoon; stir in nuts.
- Pour into pan.
- Bake until wooden pick inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
