Ingredients

  • 1 c. unsalted butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white regular sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1 large pkg. chocolate chips/chunks
  • 1 c. pecans (optional)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Beat cup of butter until soft.
  • Add to butter, brown sugar and regular sugar.
  • Add eggs.
  • Sift the following dry ingredients together and add to the mixture, baking powder, baking soda, flour and salt.
  • Add a large package of chocolate chips and toasted pecans (toast pecans at 400° for about 10 minutes).
  • Bake cookies at 350° until pale brown.
  • Tear up this recipe; it is very secret, and you should not be caught with it!
