Ingredients
- 1 c. red Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans (I usually add 1 1/2 to 2 c. pecans)
Method
- Boil first 3 ingredients until thickened.
- In another bowl, beat eggs until they are fluffy.
- Add slowly to hot hot mixture. Add vanilla and pecans.
- Bake at 375° until pie shell is well done, 25 to 30 minutes, depending on oven.
- Use uncooked pie shell.
