Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter/margarine
  • 4 c. white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 lb. chunky peanut butter
  • 8 tsp. baking soda
  • 18 c. oatmeal
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 2 lb. brown sugar
  • 1 doz. eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. white syrup
  • 1 lb. M&M's (plain)

Method

  • Cream margarine; add sugars and eggs.
  • Blend well.
  • Add vanilla, syrup, peanut butter and baking soda.
  • Mix well. Gradually mix in oatmeal.
  • Add M&M's and chocolate chips.
  • Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350°.
  • Dough can be refrigerated.
  • Makes 20 dozen cookies, approximately.
