Ingredients

  • 23 cup margarine or 23 cup butter
  • 13 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee crystals
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 34 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 cup chopped pecans or 12 cup chopped walnuts
  • 12 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

  • Melt butter in medium saucepan.
  • Stir in cocoa powder and coffee crystals.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in sugar.
  • Stir in eggs one at a time.
  • Stir in vanilla.
  • Beat lightly by hand, just till combined.
  • Stir in flour.
  • Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter into a greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan.
  • Bake in a 350 F oven for 30 minutes.
  • Cool on wire rack.
