Ingredients
- 1 small box vanilla pudding
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. water
- 16 oz. can pitted tart red cherries
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 4 drops red coloring (optional)
- 1 (8-inch) pie crust, baked
- whipped topping
Method
- Combine in saucepan pudding, sugar, lemon juice and water. Add cherries with juice.
- Cook and stir to a full boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Add butter and food coloring.
- Chill in baked 8-inch pie shell.
- Top with whipped topping.
