Ingredients
- 4 pieces cubed steak, cut in julienne strips
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 2 green peppers, cut in julienne strips
- 1 cup biased cut celery
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and cut into eights
Method
- Season meat with garlic and ginger.
- Heat half of the oil in a skillet, add meat and brown quickly on all sided.
- Remove meat and add remaining oil, heat and add peppers and celery.
- Cook until slightly tender, about 3 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and cold water and soy sauce.
- Add to skillet and cook, stirring until mixture thickens.
- Add meat & tomatoes.
- Heat.
- Serve with rice and pass the soy sauce.
