Ingredients

  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 to 4 drops flavoring (peppermint, etc.)
  • food coloring (paste not liquid)

Method

  • Sift powdered sugar.
  • Cut cream cheese into sugar.
  • Add flavoring and color.
  • Put powdered sugar on hands and knead mixture until color is even.
  • Press mixture into rubber molds.
  • Pop out and put on paper towel for a few minutes.
  • Store in airtight container with wax paper between layers.
  • These can be made up to 2 weeks in advance and put in freezer.
  • Makes approximately 200 mints.
