Ingredients

  • 7 cups Water
  • 4 bags (Individual Size) Black Tea (English Breakfast Tea Is Fine)
  • 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1/4 cups Fresh Mint Tea Leaves
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Coconut Milk

Method

  • Boil water and turn off heat. Add tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.
  • Add brown sugar, cardamom, and mint tea leaves. Bring tea to a boil again for just 1 minute to extract flavors of the fresh mint and to make sugar is completely dissolved. Turn off heat and cool down.
  • Once tea has cooled, refrigerate until cold. Meanwhile, place coconut milk in the refrigerator to cool it down as well.
  • For each serving, add ice to a large glass, followed by 1/4 cup coconut milk and 1 cup tea. Mix and serve.
