Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. Bisquick
- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 2 Tbsp. boiling water
- 6 to 7 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. thinly sliced onions
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- dash of cayenne pepper
Method
- Generously grease 24 small muffin cups.
- Mix Bisquick and margarine.
- Add boiling water.
- Stir vigorously forming soft dough.
- Press rounded teaspoonful on bottom and sides of muffin cups.
- Divide bacon in cups.
- Beat half and half and egg.
- Stir in onions and seasonings.
- Spoon 1 1/2 teaspoons in each cup. Sprinkle cheese over top.
- Bake at 375° until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
- Makes 24 appetizers.
