Ingredients
- 2 qt. cooked and ground venison or beef
- 4 qt. ground apples
- 1 gal. sweet cider
- 2 Tbsp. cloves
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 qt. sugar
- 2 1/2 qt. raisins
- suet (optional)
Method
- Put all together in large container.
- (I use my 7-quart pressure cooker bottom.)
- Boil hard 10 minutes.
- Cook until apples are soft and mixture has thickened.
- Stir often to keep from burning.
- Can while still boiling; no need to pressure can.
