Ingredients

  • 14-16 cups popped corn (1 1/2 Cups of unpopped corn)
  • Nuts optional
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/4 C. corn syrup
  • 1/2 teas. salt
  • 1/2 teas. soda
  • Brown paper bag

Method

  • Cook brown sugar, butter, corn syrup,salt,in heavy sauce pan on high 3 min.
  • Stir and cook 3 min. more. Add baking soda, stir until bege color. Put popcorn in bag then pour mixture over popcorn and add nut mixture. Microwave 30 seconds, shake bag to stir and mix. Do this 6 times, total 3 min. Can do this in a large bowl too.
