Ingredients
- 3 to 4 qt. popped popcorn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Karo syrup (light)
- 1 cube butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Cook brown sugar, Karo syrup, butter and salt slowly to boiling.
- Stir, then cook 2 minutes on high heat.
- Add soda; stir until thick.
- Put popcorn in a brown paper bag.
- Remove Karo mixture from stove; add to popcorn in bag.
- You may also add 1 cup peanuts.
- Microwave 1 minute on High; shake.
- Microwave 1 minute on High; shake.
- Microwave 1 minute on High.
- Enjoy!
