Ingredients
- 2 batches hot air popcorn (about 1 c. uncooked)
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Cook popcorn.
- Microwave margarine, brown sugar and corn syrup on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Stir, then microwave again on High for 2 minutes.
- Stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
- Put popcorn in brown paper bag and roll down sides.
- Pour caramel sauce over popcorn and stir until coated evenly.
- Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Do this 3 times, stirring or shaking after each time.
- Spread on wax paper to cool.
