Ingredients

  • 10 ounce. can Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 lg. onion, minced (about 3/4 c.)
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 (15 ounce.) can refried beans
  • 1 (4 ounce.) can minced green chilies, liquid removed
  • 1 (8 ounce.) jar taco sauce
  • 2 c. shredded Monterey Jack or possibly cheddar cheese (8 ounce.)
  • 1 tbsp. sliced ripe olives

Method

  • Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Prepare pizza crust according to package directions in 12" pizza pan or possibly 9"x13" pan.
  • Bake 5 min.
  • Cook and stir grnd beef, onion and garlic over medium heat till beef is brown; drain.
  • Spread beans to edge of baked crust.
  • Layer beef mix, chilies, taco sauce, cheese and olives on beans.
  • Cover edge of crust with 2 to 3 inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
  • Bake 10 min at 450 degrees; remove foil.
  • Bake till crust is golden and cheese is bubbly in center, about 10 min longer.
