Ingredients

  • 24 chicken wings
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped green onions and tops
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger or 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger root

Method

  • Disjoint chicken wings, discard tips.
  • Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
  • Add chicken, cover and marinate 30 minutes.
  • Remove chicken and place in a shallow baking dish, skin side down.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 minutes.
  • Turn pieces and baste with marinade and bake 15 minutes longer.
