Ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Beat margarine at medium speed.
- Gradually add sugar, beating well.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Combine flour, soda and salt.
- Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in pecans.
- Shape dough into 2 (16-inch) rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill at least 4 hours.
- Cut in 1/3-inch slices.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Cool on wire racks.
