Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2/3 cups cream
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
  • 3/4 pounds Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Mustard Glaze, recipe follows
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix for about ten minutes.
  • Place meatloaf into loaf pan and cover with Mustard Glaze.
  • Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
  • In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
