- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 2/3 cups cream
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 pounds Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Mustard Glaze, recipe follows
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix for about ten minutes.
- Place meatloaf into loaf pan and cover with Mustard Glaze.
- Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
- In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
