Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 c. tomato sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken, mushroom or celery soup
  • 1/2 soup can water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Method

  • Mix the first 7 ingredients and form into balls.
  • Arrange in baking dish in single layer.
  • Brown in oven 15 minutes at 370°. Mix the soup with the water and flour.
  • Pour soup mixture over meatballs.
  • Bake 20 to 30 minutes longer.
  • I turn meatballs once. Serve over hot rice.
