  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs (2/3 slice)
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. tiny bow tie pasta or ditalini
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian Style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning, crushed
  • 3 c. torn spinach or 1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained.
