Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. condensed tomato soup
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced

Method

  • Mix first four ingredients and 1 teaspoon salt.
  • Shape into balls and brown on all sides in hot margarine.
  • Put in 3 quart casserole.
  • Mix remaining ingredients, including salt.
  • Arrange on top of meatballs.
  • Cover and bake in preheated 350° oven.
  • Bake 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • Yields 4 to 6 servings.
