Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. beef tenderloin or round steak, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces

Method

  • Combine red pepper, garlic powder and seasoned salt in a wide, shallow bowl.
  • Add beef and mix with hands to coat with spices. Preheat broiler.
  • Thread beef and onion pieces onto 12-inch skewers.
  • Broil 4 to 5 minutes per side or until meat is tender. Makes 8 skewers.
