Ingredients
- 2.5 lb. meat (beef or lamb), cut into 1.5 to 2-inch cubes
- 10 oz. onion paste
- 2 oz. ground ginger
- 10 oz. yogurt
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp. turmeric
Method
- Mix the meat with turmeric and salt in a pan and boil the meat in a proportionate quantity of water.
- There should not be any excess water in the pan when the meat is tender.
- Add ginger, onion and yogurt to the boiled meat and keep for 20 minutes with occasional stirring.
- Then fry in a little butter until brown. Ready for serving.
