- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/3 c. tomato catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 Tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
- Mix all ingredients and bring to boil.
- Thicken with flour and water, if desired.
- Makes 1 pint.
