- 2 cups masa flour
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup garlic oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups chorizo uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups chorizo uncooked
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup queso fresco crumbled
- 2 tablespoons avocados diced
- 2 tablespoons diced tomatoes
Method
- To prepare Dough, add all ingredients to Bowl of KitchenAid(R) Artisan Stand Mixer. Attach Bowl and Flat Beater to Mixer. Turn to Speed 4 and mix 4 minutes or until dough is smooth. Use the same dough to create tortillas, pupusas or sopes.
- To prepare Tortillas, Wrap both sides of tortilla press in plastic wrap. Shape dough into 28 (1 ounce)balls.Place one ball in center of press and flatten to make tortilla. Transfer to parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. Heat nonstick skillet
