Ingredients
- 1 qt. plus 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 1 dash salt
Method
- Stir all ingredients together.
- Add enough flour to make consistency of biscuit dough (about 3 1/2 quarts).
- Put in a bowl and brush with butter.
- Let rise until it doubles in size.
- Punch down.
- Pinch off into rolls.
- Brush with butter and let rise again until it doubles in size, then bake.
- Brush with butter when done.
