Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 to 5 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 c. regular uncooked rice
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
Method
- Melt butter in skillet.
- Add onion, celery and rice.
- Saute until rice is lightly browned.
- Add 4 cups chicken broth and 1 cup stewed tomatoes.
- Cover skillet and simmer over low heat until rice is tender.
- Add salt to taste.
