Ingredients
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sherry
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 (4 to 5 lb.) pork loin roast or 6 to 8 pork chops
Method
- Combine first 6 ingredients.
- Place chops or roast in large clear plastic bag.
- Pour in marinade and close bag tightly. Marinate 2 to 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.
- Remove roast, place on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast, uncovered, at 325° for 3 hours.
- Baste with marinade.
- If using chops, bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or cook on charcoal grill 10 minutes each side.
