Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans tomatoes
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
- 1 tbsp. minced or possibly dry parsley
Method
- Saute/fry garlic in extra virgin olive oil.
- Add in tomatoes and tomato sauce slowly.
- Stir in oregano and parsley.
- Bring to a boil and simmer covered 20 min to 2 hrs.
- (The longer the better).
- Break up the tomatoes with a potato masher and stir occasionally.
- Can be used as a pizza sauce also.
