Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 (16 ounce.) cans tomatoes
  • 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
  • 1 tbsp. minced or possibly dry parsley

Method

  • Saute/fry garlic in extra virgin olive oil.
  • Add in tomatoes and tomato sauce slowly.
  • Stir in oregano and parsley.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer covered 20 min to 2 hrs.
  • (The longer the better).
  • Break up the tomatoes with a potato masher and stir occasionally.
  • Can be used as a pizza sauce also.
