Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic spread (1/2 tsp. garlic powder with 2 Tbsp. margarine)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 10 manicotti shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, diced
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • In saucepan, combine spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, garlic spread and salt.
  • Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Cook manicotti. Brown meat and green peppers; remove from heat and drain off fat. Stir in diced Mozzarella cheese and stuff tubes.
  • Pour 3/4 of the sauce in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange stuffed manicotti over sauce.
  • Put remaining sauce over manicotti.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
