Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburg (not chuck or round, too dry)
- 2 onions, chopped fine
- 2 green peppers, chopped fine
- 1 c. beef broth
- salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
- flour and water, for thickening
Method
- Brown in heavy pan hamburg, onions and peppers; add other ingredients.
- Set aside.
- Make a biscuit dough (as light as possible).
- Roll out to 1-inch thickness.
- Put meat topping on dough roll (like jellyroll) and clip edges together and put on cookie sheet.
- Cover with Lipton dry onion soup).
- Bake at 350°. Test often.
- Cut in slices and cover each piece with gravy.
- Serve with baked potato and green vegetable.
