Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 12 lbs boneless pork roast
  • 0.5 (16 ounce) jar mixed fruit, peaches, pears, pineapple, and cherries and half the juice
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 12 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Spray crock.
  • Thinly slice onion and place in bottom of crock top with roast, add wine, water, fruit.
  • Top with seasonings.
  • Cook on high until simmering, about 90 minutes.
  • Turn down to low for 3 hours or until meat is cooked through.
  • Remove meat and use stick blender to puree fruit into the liquid.
  • (or use blender).
  • In the crock back on high add softened cornstarch to sauce to thicken stirring until heated through.
  • Slice and serve meat with sauce over.
