Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 large can blackberries with juice
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Melt butter in bottom of cake pan. Mix milk, sugar, flour and baking powder and pour over butter.
- Pour berries over batter. Sprinkle sugar over top.
- Do not stir.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Berries will sink and batter will rise to cover them.
