Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. mashed tomatoes
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 5 oz. box macaroni
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • grated Cheddar cheese (for top)

Method

  • Cook and drain macaroni, then put in casserole dish.
  • Stir in soup and add sour cream.
  • Pour beef mixture over macaroni.
  • Mix well and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Grate Cheddar cheese over the top as soon as removed from the oven.
