Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 box orzo (rice shaped macaroni)
  • 2 medium cans pineapple chunks, drained and reserve juice
  • 2 cans mandarin oranges, drained and reserve juice
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and reserve juice
  • 2 large cartons Cool Whip

Method

  • Combine the first four ingredients with the reserved juices from the pineapple and oranges.
  • Cook the ingredients and cool. Cook macaroni and cool.
  • Combine cooled macaroni with sauce and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
  • Add drained fruit and mix thoroughly, then add Cool Whip.
  • Top with drained cherries and keep refrigerated.
  • Makes a large bowl.
