Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 c. shredded cheese
  • 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. elbow macaroni

Method

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain. Blend flour, salt, mustard and milk.
  • Heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens a little and is smooth.
  • Add cheese and heat until melted, stirring constantly.
  • Combine sauce and macaroni in 2-quart dish and top with cracker crumbs.
  • Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
