Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 large pkg. M & M's (3/4 lb)
Method
- Blend shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar in large bowl. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
- Sift remaining dry ingredients together.
- Add to sugar and egg mixture, blending well.
- Stir in 1/2 c. M & M's.
- Drop from tsp. on ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate tops with remaining candy.
- Bake in oven at 375° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
