Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • garlic salt or powder
  • oregano and parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • Italian seasoning
  • lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Brown hamburger with onion, garlic and parsley. Set aside. Combine tomato paste, sauce and stewed tomatoes in a large pot. Add a 14 1/2 ounce can full of water.
  • Add hamburger and seasonings to taste.
  • Simmer on low until thick, about 3 to 4 hours.
