Ingredients
- 4 London broil (1-inch thick)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Marsala wine (any cooking wine)
- 1/2 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seed
- 1 Tbsp. tomato puree
Method
- Melt butter in frying pan.
- Cook steaks on both sides until done to your taste.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from pan and keep warm.
- Add wine to pan and simmer.
- Add garlic, fennel and tomato puree, mixing well.
- Cook 1 minute longer.
- Pour over steaks.
- Serves 4.
