Ingredients

  • 3 cans Minced Clams
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/3 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley Dried
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated not shredded
  • 1 cup Onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic finely minced
  • 16 ounce Linguini
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method

  • Cook pasta as directed. While past is cooking heat oil in skillet, add onions and saute over medium heat. When onion is soft, add butter, parsley, black pepper and garlic. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • To the skillet add clams with juice and lemon juice. Simmer over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Add parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir. Remove from heat.
  • Drain pasta, do not rinse. Pour pasta in large serving bowl. Pour the sauce over pasta. Serve with additional shredded cheese such as Romano or more Parmesan.
