Ingredients
- 2 cups shelled fresh lima beans
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Method
- Place lima beans in a steaming rack; place over boiling water and steam 20 minutes or until tender.
- Combine beans, half-and-half, butter, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
