Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup low fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnuts finely chopped

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Combine brown sugar, sugar, oil, egg, vanilla and milk in a bowl.
  • Combine flour, oatmeal, salt and baking powder in another bowl.
  • Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
  • Add chocolate chips and walnuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto non-stick baking sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minute until browned.
