Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp mushroom stock or water
  • 1 fine dice garlic
  • 4 tbsp japanese sake or rice wine
  • 8 large dried shiitake mushroom

Method

  • wash and soak in warm waterdried shiitake mushroom for 10 minute or longer till double up the size then drain and slice in strip
  • in pan with butter then add mushroom and garlic sautee till fragrant in low heat till almost dry
  • add stock and soy sauce sautee till almost dry
  • add japanese sake and mix well then off heat and serve hot
