- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (30 oz.) jar Ragu traditional or meat flavored spaghetti sauce
- 16 oz. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 8 oz. or more shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 c. water
Method
- Brown ground beef until done.
- Add spaghetti sauce.
- Heat through.
- In a small bowl, combine sour cream and cottage cheese. Layer the lasagna as follows in a large casserole dish: 1/3 meat mixture, 4 1/2 noodles (uncooked), 1/2 cottage cheese mixture, 4 ounces Mozzarella cheese, 1/2 the Parmesan cheese, 1/3 meat sauce, 4 1/2 noodles, rest of the cottage cheese mixture, rest of meat sauce, top with rest of Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Pour water on top of all.
- Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°.
- Uncover and bake 20 more minutes.
- Then take out of oven and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Serve.
