Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, cut fine
  • 1/2 c. green pepper
  • 1/2 c. sweet onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
  • 1 c. celery, cut up
  • 1 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and cut up
  • 2 c. salad dressing (Hellmann's)
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Put cut lettuce in 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
  • Layer in order given.
  • Combine 2 cups salad dressing and sugar.
  • Frost completely. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Make 12 hours ahead and refrigerate.
