Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, cut fine
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
  • 1 c. green pepper, diced
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 sweet onion, diced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and diced
  • 3 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Break lettuce in small pieces.
  • Place in glass 9 x 12-inch dish, then put in layers celery, peas, pepper, eggs, onion and bacon.
  • Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread over like icing.
  • Top with Cheddar cheese.
  • Cover and put in refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours.
