Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce, cut fine
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
- 1 c. green pepper, diced
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 sweet onion, diced
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and diced
- 3 c. mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- Cheddar cheese
Method
- Break lettuce in small pieces.
- Place in glass 9 x 12-inch dish, then put in layers celery, peas, pepper, eggs, onion and bacon.
- Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread over like icing.
- Top with Cheddar cheese.
- Cover and put in refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours.
