Ingredients
- 1 large head lettuce, broken into bite-sized pieces
- 1 c. diced celery
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 pkg. frozen English peas, uncooked
- 1/2 green or yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 pkg. Ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 c. (4 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 12 slices bacon, fried crisp and diced
Method
- Layer the first 6 ingredients in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch serving dish.
- Combine mayonnaise and dressing mix.
- Spread on top, sealing vegetables below.
- Top with grated cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Sprinkle on diced bacon before serving.
