Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower
  • 1 medium head iceberg lettuce, torn in bite size pieces
  • 1 large purple onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Cut cauliflower into flowerets.
  • Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in a 3-quart bowl.
  • Combine mayonnaise, sugar and cheese.
  • Spread evenly over top, sealing to edge of bowl.
  • Sprinkle with more cheese.
  • Refrigerate.
  • Toss gently before serving.
  • Yields 8 to 10 servings.
