Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 lb. frozen peas and carrots or other mixed vegetables
- 2 lb. seasoned mashed potatoes
- 2 pkg. brown gravy mix
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
Method
- In skillet, brown meat just until done. Drain off fat.
- Place meat in large casserole dish.
- Layer frozen vegetables over meat. Mix water with gravy mix; pour evenly over meat and vegetable layers.
- Spread mashed potatoes over other layers. Dot with margarine, if desired.
- Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until potatoes are slightly browned. Excellent one dish meal.
