Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. hot or sweet sausage
  • 1 box lasagne noodles
  • tomato sauce (made or jar)
  • 1 jar sweet fried peppers
  • 1 container skim Ricotta
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large can sliced mushrooms
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Bring water to boil in large pot.
  • Cook according to box directions.
  • When done, transfer cooked noodles to large bowl of ice water.
  • While noodles are cooking, cook ground beef until done.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Cook sausage (remove skin) until done and crumbly.
  • Open mushroom can and drain.
  • Open fried sweet peppers and drain.
  • Mix Ricotta with 1 egg.
